Letter from the President
Welcome to the UCLA Panhellenic Council, the largest women’s organization at UCLA. My name is Sarah and I am the 2020 Panhellenic President.
When I first came to UCLA, the sheer size of the school and student body overwhelmed me and I strived to find a way to make this big school smaller, leading me to join the Panhellenic community. I joined the Panhellenic community three years ago to find a place where I felt a sense of belonging and to make an impact on this large campus. I would not be the woman I am today without the women I interact with everyday in this amazing community. They inspire me to excel in the classroom and to be the best version of myself I can be. I can honestly say I would not be President without them.
Coming to UCLA I have been exposed to a variety of different people who share diverse opinions, backgrounds and experiences and many of these interactions have taken place within this community. Here in the Panhellenic community we strive to uphold the ideals of academics, leadership, service and sisterhood in everything we do as chapters and as individuals. The Panhellenic experience is unique to each woman in our community, but we are all linked by these shared ideals.
Each of 13 chapters can offer a variety of experiences and will provide you with a network of support and inspiration that can be hard to find at a large university. However, no matter if you join our community or not, we hope to support you and wish you luck on any future endeavors. Keep an eye out for programming throughout this school year!
Always feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if I can support you in any way. My email is: email@example.com
