Letter from the President

Hello!
Your enthusiasm for joining the Panhellenic community fills me with joy and excitement for the incredible journey that lies ahead at UCLA. Within each of our chapters, you will discover a supportive, motivating, and empowering environment that truly enhances every member’s journey at UCLA. While every chapter and the women within it are unique, we are all united by our shared commitment to academics, leadership, service, and sisterhood.

When I first arrived at UCLA, I was nervous about finding my place on such a large campus. I had no knowledge of Greek life and wasn’t sure if I would find a chapter where I truly felt at home. But since I was a first year, everything changed; I can confidently say that my chapter is now one of my greatest sources of support in all areas of my life.
Beyond just my chapter, meeting women across the row made me feel an undeniable sense of belonging and gave me unwavering support. These women have pushed me outside my comfort zone, motivated me both academically and personally, and inspired me to always be the best version of myself.
My experience has truly shaped who I am today and provided me with memories, experiences, and friendships that will last a lifetime. I joined Panhellenic for the sisterhood and service, and I’ve met some of my best friends and closest family here.I have worked internally in my chapter as Operations Specialist, and I served as VP of Risk Management last year on Panhellenic Executive Council. I came into the community through the Continuous Ongoing Bidding process, and what I love most is how Panhellenic embraces inclusivity—anyone has the opportunity to join and experience all that we offer. As a Iranian-American, diversity and inclusion in the Greek community are incredibly important to me. I strive to contribute to making the Greek life experience more open and welcoming for everyone, and I’m proud to be a part of this effort.

The 11 chapters at UCLA are ready to offer you the same transformative experiences, lasting friendships, and profound sense of belonging that I’ve experienced. Be sure to look out for our exciting and diverse programming throughout the academic year! I’m so thrilled for all that’s to come!
