Alpha Chi Omega

"Domestic Violence Awareness is one of the most important aspects of Alpha Chi Omega. All of our philanthropy events that we hold help raise money for the Santa Monica Sojourn Center, which is a domestic violence shelter program that offers crisis and transitional housing to individuals and families who need it."

Gamma Phi Beta

"Since 1895, Chi Omega Fraternity members have given their time and talent to provide service to others. In the late 1990s, the leadership in Chi Omega researched opportunities for establishing a national philanthropy, and in 2002, they announced the Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish alliance. Since the start of this alliance, Chi Omega has raised more than 37 million dollars and has volunteered over 1.5 million hours for Make-A-Wish."

Kappa Delta

"Our philanthropy, Girls on the Run, is a non-profit organization that partners our confident women of character with pre-teen girls in the greater Los Angeles area to train and complete a 5k run. While the run at the end of the season is a testament to the girl’s physical endurance, Girls on the Run builds strong girls in so many more ways. Unwavering leadership, confidence, and positive self image are just a few of the lessons that Gamma Phi women help instill in young girls in our community."

Kappa Kappa Gamma

"For the Child – one child at a time, one family at a time, one program at a time – builds a community that provides a circle of safety and possibility for children. To build healthy lives for children and families, free of abuse, neglect, and violence."

"Since 1981, Kappa Delta has been a proud supporter of Prevent Child Abuse America, an organization founded by the late Donna Stone, one of our own Kappa Delta sisters. To date, Kappa Delta has donated more than $29 million to prevent child abuse in our country."

"Participating in our chapter philanthropy, A Day in the Life, is one of the best parts of being in Kappa Kappa Gamma here at UCLA. Every year, our chapter hosts elementary school kids at UCLA, and shows them what it's like to be a Bruin for a day. We play games, read with them, show them around campus, teach them UCLA cheers and trivia in hopes of inspiring higher education!"
